Third Floor CR, evening

Looking for something to distract himself from moping, Bel sprawled on the couch of the third floor common room, flipping through the channels of the TV. He settled on an episode of the History Channel's "Mega Diasters" series: West Coast Tsunami. Violence and destruction. Perfect.

"It's nothing fancy," Cally said. "Just an old Mark Three. It's a bit outdated for my time... but I guess it's beyond the technology of this time, so..." Cally's nose crinkled and she made a face.

"I'm gonna stop thinking about that before I make my head hurt."

"Don't need to be fancy. My ship really isn't even all that fancy," Kaylee said. "Course, I love her anyway."

"Yeah, I know what you mean. Still don't quite get the whole time thing."

"So, you kinda travelled in time a bit too?" Cally smiled. "Guess we really do have a lot in common."

"We totally need to watch silly movies and braid each other's hair sometime," Cally said.
