Second Floor Common Room, late Saturday Evening

Hamlet sat in the common room, half watching some late night TV. There was some comedy skit and musical show on, but it really wasn't very funny. He wondered about seeing if anything good was on at this time of night.

Alec nodded, frowning. "Right. Pool is gross, the beach is at least cleaner than that except for-- what? Emo?"

"Emo. Feeling over emotional, especially with sadness. People seem to use the beaches around here mostly to gaze longingly out at the water and complain out loud about the so-called pain in their lives." He glances back at the show. Still not funny. "We also have an Emo club every once in a while."

"I guess that's kind of... poetic." He just barely decided on that instead of 'pathetic'. "Don't think I'll be doing that any time soon. And if everyone goes to the beach to 'emo', why do they need a club?"

"It allows people to have much more concentrated bouts of emo, with a power far stronger than it would be on the beach. It's part of our plan for world conquest. Plus, they often have snacks at the meetings."

"Hey, snacks. I'm always up for free food. When do you guys meet?"

"It used to be every Thursday, but our club president has blasted off into space until his mun gets home for the next little bit, so I'm uncertain."

"Certainly. Make sure to bring your best emo and a bag of twinkies."

"Twinkies. The one thing that's still actually inexpensive where I come from," he said in amusement. "Great, thanks for the tip, Hamlet."
