The Gym - Early Sunday Morning

Peter had gone to bed early so he wasn't particularly surprised that he woke up extra early in the morning.  

After changing into workout clothes, he headed down to the gym hoping to get a bit of swordwork done before meeting Susan in town.

Once in the gym, he made straight for 'his' practice sword and started moving through footwork drills as a warm up

"And that all happens quickly enough to fend off the invasion? It's not that I don't have faith in the system, it's just that I don't really have faith in the system."

Cameron grinned. "Usually there's some warning for things going down, yes. There's students who can transport themselves so that helps," he paused and lowered his voice so no one else could over hear. "Some people might have provisions somewhere."

"Instantaneous transportation on command. Another thing I never expected to be counting on in battle." Peter followed Cameron's lead and lowered his voice, "That makes me feel a bit better. How was that managed?"

"They never made us give the weapons back after the zombies," Cameron whispered back with a shrug. Then louder he continued, "There's a lot of things I never expected to see here," said with a smile and motioned to the bag. "I should try to get some working out done though. In case there is an invasion where swords don't work."

"That was either very silly or very smart of them. Good for us though." Peter nodded and said "good call, and I should get back to making sure I won't be run around the training yard eventually."
