Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

Peter was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in front of him and a box of cookies from J. GOB.  He'd found some Coca-Cola (and still couldn't get over the fact it came in cans now) and was flipping through the channels on the TV.

Oooh, war movie.  That looked interesting.  The planes looked familiar too.  Peter sat forward in his seat as the title rolled.  Rescuing Corproral Smith?  Did they make movies about World War II now?

OOC: open for all of course but especially [profile] saltandammo

"Oo!" she sat up straighter. "I might hypothetically know someone who could do that."

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
"Say someone hypothetically needed some kind of... panic button. Or some kind of monitoring spell or talisman or something. Nothing too invasive or anything, but that if the someone who has it were to, say, get attacked or kidnapped or something, it would... let a designated alarm raiser know." Dean stopped, hoping that that was clear enough for Willow to understand without actually giving away any secrets he wasn't supposed to.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
"Oo, well somebody could try combining a protection and a locator spell," Willow said. "Or a communication spell combined with an item of protection and maybe a little bit of mint because communication spell components can smell like nobody's business though I've always felt if they were combined with privacy items there could be - "

Willow realized she was babbling. In public. She gave a sheepish grin. "Hypothetically?"

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
Dean slowly smiled widely. "I think I've found the right girl for the job. Hypothetically."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Should said girl hypothetically keep her eyes open for such hypothetical subjects while she's hypothetically in the library tomorrow?" Willow asked.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
"Absolutely. In a completely hypothetical way."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
"She could hypothetically do that."

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
"In that case, I'd be hypothetically grateful."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Then you could hypothetically count on it."

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
Dean grinned. "I just have to say, Willow, that you're my kind of girl."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
Willow blushed. "Thanks. These days I'm normally nobody's kind of girl. I like your way better. It's a change of pace."

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm glad. Though it makes me wonder about everyone else. Someone as pretty, smart, interesting and... hypothetically talented should be everyone's kind of girl."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, possibly. But wouldn't that also make her hypothetically slutty?"

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Only if everyone was her kind of guy," Dean told her. "Otherwise she's just... hot. Hypothetically."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
"And yet the one guy who needed to agree with that failed to notice," Willow couldn't help but mutter. Possibly loud enough that Dean heard her. Or possibly she was blushing so hard nothing could be heard over the red.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
Willow's voice had gone soft, but Dean still managed to make out what she said. "Then that guy is an idiot," he told her firmly.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Willow facepalmed. And blushed harder. Then figured what the hell?

"What's your feeling on werewolves?" she asked. "Female werewolves?"

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Dean blinked a little at the non sequitor, but answered the question anyway. "Nasty -- I've seen what's left after a werewolf attacks a couple of times. It's not pretty. Silver bullet to the heart does wonders to improve the situation though."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't know if that causes enough suffering," Willow said. She was pouting a little.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
Dean's eyebrow went up. "Willow, do you have a werewolf problem?" he asked carefully.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Not anymore," Willow sighed.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
"O...kay..." Dean said slowly, wondering if he missed part of the conversation somewhere. He did his best to offer... something. "If you do have any future werewolf problems, I'll be happy to help you with it. Have silver bullets, will travel."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
Willow smiled. "Thanks, Dean. Shame I didn't know you before I came here."

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, you know me now," Dean pointed out, glad that he was able to make her smile again. She had a cute smile. "That'll have to do."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
"If I meet any other werewolves like her, I will definitely send you their way," Willow said.
