Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

Peter was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in front of him and a box of cookies from J. GOB.  He'd found some Coca-Cola (and still couldn't get over the fact it came in cans now) and was flipping through the channels on the TV.

Oooh, war movie.  That looked interesting.  The planes looked familiar too.  Peter sat forward in his seat as the title rolled.  Rescuing Corproral Smith?  Did they make movies about World War II now?

OOC: open for all of course but especially [profile] saltandammo

"Not the one with the accent," Willow confirmed. "The one who's dating Bridge, who'd better not be a demon if he knows what's good for him."

"You think there's some way we can find out for sure?" asked Conner. "Because he told me he was in training for some kind of police academy, and the police don't take demons, do they? I mean, I hope not."

"I don't think demons have police departments," Willow said. "But - oh! I could do a spell! A demon-testing spell!"

Conner blinked some more. He'd known in an academic sort of sense that witches were real, but that was a different thing from actually meeting one. Assuming this was the case, anyhow. "You know magic?"

Darn her magic geekiness getting the better of her mouth before she could stop it!

"No?" she squeaked, though probably not convincingly.

Pursue the subject, or stave off the flailing? Conner decided the flailing might be a little too much for him to handle. "That's okay. Me neither," he said. "Which means we probably shouldn't try that, huh?"

Which was a really lame attempt at a joke, if he were to be completely honest with himself. Not that he was, at this particular moment.

"Right," Willow said, nodding eagerly. "Bad idea. Don't know why I suggested it. Though probably because dissecting him isn't an option"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Uh, excuse me?" Bridge says, a little startled.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Nothing!" Willow said, looking innocent.

"I'm not a demon," he says, frowning.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
"Good," Willow said. "Then I don't have to find some kind of really painful anti-demon spell that I could so zap your ass with faster than you could say Jiminy Christmas, buster!"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2006-05-15 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Uh, okay then." Bridge replies.

And decides that today has been a really weird day.

Willow nodded smugly, feeling she had made her point.

Bridge just sighs.
