2nd Floor Common Room - Sunday night

Her room was always big, but it seemed even larger and emptier now that Elizabeth was the only one in it.

So, with a blanket thrown around her shoulders and a box of chocolates in her hand, she headed to the common room and curled up in the corner of the sofa and started flicking through the channels.

Ooh, Insomnious on Lake Union. She loved this movie.

"Doing pretty good," Cally said. She took a quick sip of her soda. "Haven't seen you in forever, either. How about you? Doing well?"

"Yeah, not too bad," Elizabeth said, offering the box of chocolate across. "Almost looking forward to the summer camp actually starting."

Cally grabbed a chocolate out of the box, grinning. "Thanks." She popped it in her mouth and chewed.

"You know, me too, actually. It's kinda weird having so much time on my hands, right now. Anders has ideas how to spend that time, but I can only--" Cally coughed. "Erm, yeah, I can only do so much, you know?"

Elizabeth snickered slightly. "Yeah, I get it," she said. "What workshops did you sign up for?"

"First Aid and... Computers," Cally said, after a moment of hesitation. "I thought about the clockwork one, but decided I have more fun tinkering on my own." She took another swig.

"How about you?"

"Leadership and the one at the beach, and I added writing and photography too," Elizabeth said. "Enough to keep myself busy, I think."

"Wow, yeah," Cally said. "Extra busy, even. Got something against free time or something?" She giggled a little.

Elizabeth grinned. "Something like that. I'll have a three day weekend, and all of my afternoons off though, so that's something. It'll be fun."

"Well, yeah, there's always that, yeah." Cally thinks for a second. "Oh, oh, oh. How's the relationship situation? Got anything going?"

Elizabeth ducked her head slightly. "There's something," she admitted, smiling shyly. The smile faded slightly. "Despite my idiotic ways with relationships trying to sabotage it."

"Hey, hey," Cally said, sticking out her lower lip. "What's this about sabotaging? That's no fun."

Elizabeth fidgeted slightly. "There was an argument, and me walking out and then another fight. Pretty much all because I was scared," she admitted.

Cally tilted her head. "Well, how come? You seemed all happy about it for a second... why you scared?"

Cally nodded her head. "I'm prying because as someone who has spent the night handcuffed to your bed, I am personally invested in your happiness."

Elizabeth laughed slightly. "Wow, that seems like such a long time ago now," she said. "I am happy about it. Mostly." She paused. "Well. I was fine until we talked about it, and we decided that we were serious and it's complicated and I was scared."

"Well, yeah," Cally said, nodding. "Serious relationships are kinda scary. And I've only been in one, but... if you really care about the person, that's what should matter most, right?"

"It should, yes, and logically I do know that," Elizabeth said, smiling slightly. "I just don't do so well in practise."

"Well, maybe it'll help if you tell me who it is?" Cally said, because tact is so -not- her middle name.

Elizabeth ducked her head, blushing slightly. "It's Janet," she said.

Cally giggled a little. "You know, given that last I talked to her, I tried to set her up with either of two boys who ended up dating each other, this is kinda totally awesome. And you two would be great together."

"You tried to set her up with Bridge and/or Xander?" Elizabeth giggled slighty herself. "She never told me that." Her blush deepened slightly. "Thanks. We are. I think, at least."

"Do I have to fight for you two to be a couple? Cause I'd totally fight for that. Literally, even. Maybe even in jell-o in front of a paying audience, if that's what it took," Cally said.

Elizabeth giggled. "I don't think you need to fight. We had the whole defining talk and stuff, so... yeah."

"Yay," Cally said, smiling. "So, yeah. Let me know how that works out. Maybe we can, like, double-date sometime or something."

Elizabeth smiled slightly. "Yeah, I will do. Although I think the prom's the only real 'official' date we've had so far. We need to work on that."

"Aww, you two went to prom together and I missed it?" Cally pouted a little. "That woulda been so adorable."
