The Gym - Late Friday Morning

Because what was a morning without going to the gym?  Peter wasn't sure he wanted to find out.

So he headed down there after getting up and started his warm up.  After a few minutes, he began running through sword drills working his way from the easiest forms to the most difficult he knew.

Parker catches sight of Alec, and her eyes narrow. Hmmm. She keeps doing her warm-up, but the vibe is a little more-- forceful, now.

After a little while, she gives it up. And wanders over to the weights. "Birds. And bees?"

Alec looked up at her, giving a very good impression of an innocent person. "The cadence worked? I was on a roll?"

"Mmmmmm." Parker tapped her nails on the machine. "You're very very sorry? That might work too."

"I'm very very sorry," he intoned solemnly, then grinned up at her. "I owe you that much for the recommendation."

"Why don't I think you're taking this seriously?" Parker complained, then tilted her head. "Oh, reeeeally? That little tidbit didn't make the radio."

"I don't think any of them have," Alec said, looking thoughtful. "Nice of them not to out me, I guess."

"Any of-- Alec, you cabana boy of the Fandom High dorm." She shook her head, half amused, half annoyed. "The radio is never 'nice'. You just managed to fly under the radar somehow. I'll await the explosions when it does with amusement and interest. Assuming none of my friends get hit with the shrapnel."

"Going out with a blaze of infamy isn't my preference either," he said. "And -- Cabana boy?"

"Do you deny that you'd offer service to any attractive bikini-wearing girl in the dorm?" Parker shook her head. "I won't be outing you unless forced. If I catch someone doodling your name and hers in a big heart, for example. Otherwise, what happens in your dorm room... stays in your dorm room." She paused. "I hope."

Alec smirked. "Thanks, Parker. And so far my activities haven't taken me anywhere but firmly inside rooms already furnished with beds. As for the threat," he said, arching an eyebrow. "It's my fault if a girl falls for me?"

"Only if she doesn't know she's first among many," Parker said dryly. "Most women don't maintain any illusions about forever if they know the guy is interested in the needs of the many."

"I don't lie about that," Alec said, giving her an affronted look. "I just don't necessarily see fit to lay it out every single time."

"Yeaaaah." Parker shook her head. "And you're not getting kicked, 'cause I think you can tell which girls can figure that out and which can't. You ever misjudge the situation, though...." A shark-grin, and a mock-thwap that missed his hair by centimeters. "Fair warning, right?"

Alec had just barely tried to duck, and an involuntary shiver ran up his spine at the brush of her hand over his head. He snorted lightly at her, regaining his cool. "And I'll have you making my life miserable for the rest of my student life?"

"You learn fast. I'm not gonna have to tell you twice." Parker's smile is just amused now. "Have fun, Cabana Boy."
