The Gym - Late Friday Morning

Because what was a morning without going to the gym?  Peter wasn't sure he wanted to find out.

So he headed down there after getting up and started his warm up.  After a few minutes, he began running through sword drills working his way from the easiest forms to the most difficult he knew.

[[OOC: Gym's open for all'y'all]]

"I'm glad to hear it. She seemed like a good doctor, the couple times I met her." Parker nudged Pippi's arm with her own, her eyes still on Pip. "So why are you worried?"

"There was an argument." she explained. "I don't think it had to do with what happened but..."

Pippi sighed and leaned back against the wall.

"I'm probably just being over sensitive."

Parker parsed that out, and came up with, "Someone else was arguing over you, maybe?" She tilted her head, studying the younger girl. "You've got a right to feel paranoid now. A lot of crap happened."

"I don't even know what it was about." she said, "I suppose it's a combination of lots of things, stress, people who have a skewed sense of self-preservation, and at the same time are protective of others... Everybody kept telling us that they're not mad at us. And I believe that... And I'm glad, you have no idea how glad. But that leaves a lot of undirected anger floating around you know?"

"Yeah. I know." The best part of Study Group was having a target. The worst part, for everyone, was people getting hurt and not getting Dru or Darla, after. Parker sighed. "You just have to ride it out, I guess. Ask them what it was about, if you're up to it. If you're not-- in a week or two, it'll be better. When people aren't visibly wounded and reminded every time they see their friends any more."

That would be why she forced me to look under his eyepatch then.

"Yeah," Pippi responded rubbing her face, "You're right... Of course." she bumped shoulders with her and smiling again.

Parker scrutinized her, and returned the smile. "Anything else bugging you? Anything I can help with?"

"I know you've just been, but I do need to go shopping for clothes at some point. Somebody needs to teach me the proper way to squander my Grandfather's money."

Other people might ask for a way to make it so the past weekend never happened, but that's not Pippi's style.

"All right, then. Maybe next week? We'll do it right, go into D.C. Find you a few things you can't on the Island." Parker smiled and go to her feet. "Does that work?"

"Oh yes, that sounds delightful!" said Pippi who quite enjoyed her last trip to DC as it didn't involve adding to the list of things that suck.

"By next weekend I'm sure I'll be able to go do stuff with out people wagging their fingers at me."
