Seahorse common room, Monday evening

Jaye makes it all the way back to Seahorse without giggling about the Arts and Crafts Scrapbooking WS. Because come on, that's funny. And yes, she did actually leave the cabin for a while, despite anything she might have said yesterday. And no, she's probably not leaving again. Because the pretty is here.

"Oh I'm definitely keeping busy." He hesitated just a little before continuing, but it wasn't like Sam didn't know who he was dating or anything. "Checked out the woods this afternoon with Dawn. And I'm kinda looking forward to the workshops too -- did you get a ninja note?"

Sam managed to keep a fairly neutral face when Dean mentioned Dawn, and tried not to think too hard about it. "Yeah, I did get a note. I was wondering where that came from."

"Ninjas apparently live up to their reputation," Dean said. "And at least we have confirmation that she's not a demon since she got past the salt circles and protective runes."

"And we know none of our cabinmates are secretly demons either, since they all seem to be coming and going without trouble. I don't think they'd let a demon run a workshop here, do you?" Sam asked.

"I heard that they used to have a crazy vampire as a teacher here, so..." Dean shrugged. "Though I haven't heard anything demonic about any of our teachers -- crazy and dangerous, yes. Demonic, no."

"Crazy and dangerous? Well, there's the ninja, clearly. But are there others besides her?"

"I keep getting told that Sex Ed is being taught by, and I quote, 'the Crazy Hooker'. I don't know whether to be disturbed or intrigued."

"Oh my god, do you think she might really be a prostitute?" Sam started laughing. "Wow. She'd certainly know about sex, I suppose."

"Since apparently she runs the local bordello, I think the hooker part is real," Dean said, thinking he so needed to get his brother laid. Or at least dating with potential to... "It's the crazy part that flew right over your head that I'm concerned about."

...yeah, Sam had kind of missed that part, hadn't he? "Well, 'crazy' is a relative term. I mean, people think we're crazy half the time, but that's just because they don't know the truth. 'Hooker' is a lot more specific."

"Yeah, but think about this place, and then think about the fact that people who have been here awhile, with the snowmonsters and the zombies and the dancing bunnies, they think she's crazy."

"Maybe they think she's crazy because she's fairly normal? For a prostitute, at least. It's just a thought."

"I think you're way too fixated on the prostitute thing," Dean told his brother.

"I'm not fixated!" Sam replied, perhaps a bit too quickly. "I just didn't know they had a bordello in town. Somehow I missed that on the self-guided tour." He fixed Dean with a look. "If you even think about suggesting that I check the place out, I will hurt you in your sleep."

Dean held his hands up in a gesture of innocence. "I didn't say anything," he protested. Then after a perfectly timed moment he added, "Though if you did want to-"

"Dean!" Sam put his hands up like he was trying to push the thought away. "We are not having this conversation. You cannot possibly be serious."

"Hey, you were the one who brought up going to the bordello," Dean pointed out in his most perfectly reasonable voice. "I'm just following your lead here."

"I was just trying to come up with a reason for her to not be crazy, and I should probably just stop talking, because clearly, it's not going to get me anywhere."

"Except maybe the bordello." Dean grinned.

"I am not going to the bordello!" It was amazing how loud Sam's voice could get when he didn't want it to.

Dean was trying really hard not to laugh. "Whatever you say, Sammy," he said, clapping a hand on his brother's shoulder. "You're free to change your mind-"

"Which I won't," Sam finished. "But if I do, I'll make sure you're the first to know."

"You do that," Dean told him. "I might even pay for you. After all, what are big brothers for?"
