Main Activity Area, Very early in the morning

As the sun rose over Fandom, an unusual sight could be observed. Eight beds were lined up in the main activity area. As the sky brightened, the strange white mist that had surrounded the beds most of the night disappeared, leaving behind eight sleeping Stickbugs and a small sleeping black cat.

The only witness? A lone teal deer that had wandered by, attracted not by a boring speech but by the sight of the brightly colored, not normally seen in nature, hair that each of the sleeping campers appeared to have grown. Startled as the campers started to stir, it bounded away.

Kawalsky awoke from a sleep so heavy that he wasn't sure if he'd gone on a bender last night, or if he'd had the best sleep of his life.

He sniffled a little as he woke up, face splattered with a small bout of rain during the night. Either that or someone had thrown a bucket of water over him.

"Bzuh?" he mumbled and opened his eyes. He was looking at the sky. That in itself was kinda normal for him, as he'd slept outside plenty of times before, but what was odd was that he was still in his bed.

Kawalsky sat up and looked around. The other Stickbugs were outside in their beds as well.

Cameron was woken up by something, he just wasn't sure what. Probably not by the fact that his hair was in all the colours of the rainbow because he didn't know that.

What he did know was that his bed was damp, he was chilled and there was wind in his room. He opened up his eyes and started up at the cloudy sky.

"They took our cabin..."

Peter awoke suddenly. His brain just didn't turn on immediately. "What happened to sleeping in cabin? The cabin's not wet."

Peter yawned as he started to wake up. "Huh?" was his only reaction upon opening his eyes. He then looked down at the weight he just noticed on his chest. "Buh? Faithful?"

He picked the sleeping cat up from his chest carefully, sat up, and looked around. "We went to sleep inside, right?"

Tyler curled into himself as he worke up. He hadn't slept so deeply in years.

Then his eyes opened, and he slowly stiffened, then sat up. "Where are we?"

Cameron wandered back from talking to Veronica. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting out of here."

At some point in the night, Zack had retrived his video camera in order to get the rainbow Stickbugs in full motion.

Hopefully it would be flaily motion.

Bel got up early before his morning Flight and Flying class. He just conveniently happened to be passing by as the Stickbugs awoke.

He blinked. And blinked again. "What the hell...?"

Veronica headed out of her cabin early with the intent of walking in to town for coffee and doughnuts to share with her cabin-mates.

The site of eight beds and boys with rainbow colored hair stopped her in her tracks.

She idly wondered if she was supposed to find out who was responsible and punish them or something. But she was laughing too hard to care.

Phoebe came out to the main area before her workshop, trying to work some of the stiffness out from her sparring with John the night before.

When she saw the Stickbugs, she started giggling.

"That's what I love about late night rains... the early morning rainbows."

To be completely honest, Aeryn's only actually worried about one person's reaction, as she hasn't talked to anyone else and English Peter knew he was in trouble. She might be here to see how upset John is.

Alanna stayed very well out of the way, giggling like a maniac. And keeping an eye on her cat.

Artie came over, nodded to the entire large group without comment on the strangeness of the boys sleeping outside or having colored hair, set up his trampoline by the campfire, stepped up on it, and proceeded to pose motionlessly as he waited for his workshop to begin.

Nadia wandered by and blinked at the Stinkbugs Stickbugs. Huh. It seemed there was another group that felt the need to exact vengeance upon the bugboys.

They should join forces.

Up early for the flying workshop, Sam walked out of the Seahorse cabin and took in the scene, grinning. There may have also been whistling, but she'd deny it if asked.

Xander, heading for town with a letter to mail, said nothing. He was too busy laughing so hard there were tears in his eyes, then carefully prying the envelope open, and adding a post-script.
