Main campfire, Saturday morning

Nadia leaned back against one of the logs around the main campfire site, though there was no campfire lit at the moment, because, hey, day time. She had her guitar in her lap and was working on the fingering for U2's "One" . . . and admiring the camp's newest flag on the flag pole: a lovely pair of linen legging style underpants. She wondered when Principal Washburn would find her presents.

And the radio hadn't reported a damned thing.

In celebration, she had a box of donuts from J,GoB, perfect for sharing with other underwear-flag admirers.

It was good to be a squirrel.

"Ah," said Nadia, who knew better than to question the phrase "normal, blue hairless person". "I bet she made a good plant teacher, then."

"She did. Although it was her idea for me to read children's stories to Vyvyan. Vyvyan just wants to hit things."

"He's a punk plant?" Nadia tilted her head. "Maybe Hank isn't growing because his name is really Neil and he's too depressed?"

"Vyvyan isn't a punk. Violents are just... violent." Walter cocked his head. "Okay, I'm defending my plant's personality. I'm going to see about putting together some lunch and see who wants to come with us."
