Jaye is back from town, and she comes bearing supplies. Supplies meaning booze. Because if there's going to be girlkissy without a bottle involved (not dirty), there has to be booze.

But, it's all for a good cause. Yay boykissy.

Maybe she should have told the boys about this. Alas. She might at least give them warning about the cameras.

"Yay. I have no idea why I'm gleeful about this except it makes me right," she grins.

"I do whatever I can to help you keep your rightness record intact," Sam said.

"Date number three went well," says Jaye, who apparently talks about boys with Sam now. Okay, cool.

"Number three? With...Alec?" Sometimes Sam had trouble keeping couples straight. "Did you have a nice time?"

She nods. "He's... interesting. It's cool."

"That's great," Sam said, "so what did you do on this date? Er, without telling me anything I don't need to know."

"Nothing bad," she says. "After we unglued Alec from his pants thanks to Cute Sam and Dean being twelve, we went to Caritas. And actually talked."

Sam really, really wanted to ask about the pants gluing, but figured other things were probably more important. "Talked about what? I think it's good that you had things in common."

"Well, we don't, actually. I think," she says, and shrugs. She isn't sure how personal Alec's stuff is, so she can shut up. "Backgrounds, things like that. How I'm dating a cheerleader now, hahaha."

"Not what you expected?"

"Didn't exactly expect cheerleading, no. But I'm a modern girl, I can handle it."

She nodded. "That's very enlightened of you, Jaye. I'm impressed."

"Plus it means I get to freak out my parents," she grins.

Jaye hadn't really told Sam much about her parents. "And this is a good thing?" She frowned. "Wait, why will they freak out over you dating Alec?"

"They wouldn't, really. They'd probably think he's a very nice young man. Which is when I would freak out," she says. "But if I just call up and say I'm dating a cheerleader with no other details? They can make their own completely wrong assumptions. Forget I'm at a girlkissy event."

"Why don't you just tell them about the girlkissy event?"

"Too easy," she answers simply.

"Your mind's a very convoluted place, isn't it?" Sam asked.

"You have no idea. I should probably be studied," she says.

"But then you'd be in pieces, and we wouldn't want that." Sam bit her lip, then said, "but if you ever donate yourself to science, I have people you should contact."

"Um. Wasn't talking autopsy," she says. "More like headshrinky. I can do headshrinky."

"Ah," Sam shrugged. "Oops. But better you than me in with the headshrinker."

"Eh. Not so much. Tried it once. Stole a bookend, then kinda refused to go back," she says.

"Stole a bookend?" Talking to Jaye very often made Sam feel like she'd missed an important memo. This was one of those times.

"There was a thing," she says. "Apparently? Very important that I steal the damn thing. I still have it."
