Gym - Sunday Afternoon - Cheerleading Practice

Marie arrived at the gym early, toting her pom-poms and ready for practice.

She was also carrying what appeared to be a length of PVC pipe, which was decorated with blue and gold glitter and streamers and resting on a blue pillow with gold fringe.

It was time for the Fandom High cheerleaders to have a spirit stick.

[ooc: ~~please wait for~~ ocd up, yay. also? I totally watched Bring It On the other day for research. please do not have your character drop the spirit stick without talking to me though. I have plans.]

"Hey, Willow," Bel said. "Heard Marie said you were sick yesterday. Feeling better?"

"Definitely better," Willow said. She held her arms out as though to show herself off. "Look. No bed! Or there is a bed but it's back in my room and I'm here, which means I don't need to be in it which means betterness abounds."

"Twenty-four hour bug or something?" Bel said. "Glad to see you're better."

"Or something," Willow said with a worried glance in Marie's direction. "How about you? You don't look quite as bruisey, not that you looked very bruisey before."

"I'm fine," Bel said. "Just came down to watch my girlfriend do the pom pom thing." He held out his bag to Willow. "Popcorn?"

"Thank you," Willow helped herself to some. "I'm here to cheer on the roomie. I'm completely behind. I had to miss last practice due to classes."

"A cheerleader for a cheerleader?" Bel chuckled.

Willow gave him a scolding look. "It's completely necessary! Otherwise who would support their efforts? It's not like the team's going to stop rolling the basketball around and go 'Woo, way to cheer!'"

"Hey, I get you," Bel said. "I'm cheering Phoebe on." He idly tossed another piece of popcorn in Marie's direction.

"Hey!" Willow went to whap Bel on the arm. "No throwing things at my roomie!"

Bel pouted and rubbed his arm. "She's mean to me."

"Then you probably deserve it," Willow said, primly.

"She's made it her mission in life to annoy me," Bel protested.

"Can I help?"

Bel made another pouty face. Not nearly as good as Willow's pouty face, but he tried.

Willow snickered. She then waved a finger near Bel's arm. "I'm not touching you..."

"Oh, great," Bel groaned. "Two of you."

"We're a team," Willow said, proudly.

"And you're going to be the death of me," Bel said. "Who needs a vanquish potion?"

"Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger?" Willow teased.

"No fair," Bel said. "I can't retaliate against you."

"You're right, that's horrible," Willow said, grinning.

"Is this what I have to do to atone for an evil past?" Bel said, shaking his head.

"Actually for that I think you have to wear dark colors all the time and brood," Willow said.

"I've got that part down just fine," Bel said. "I learned from the best, after all."
