Gym - Sunday Afternoon - Cheerleading Practice

Marie arrived at the gym early, toting her pom-poms and ready for practice.

She was also carrying what appeared to be a length of PVC pipe, which was decorated with blue and gold glitter and streamers and resting on a blue pillow with gold fringe.

It was time for the Fandom High cheerleaders to have a spirit stick.

[ooc: ~~please wait for~~ ocd up, yay. also? I totally watched Bring It On the other day for research. please do not have your character drop the spirit stick without talking to me though. I have plans.]

"I'm sorry," he said automatically, still mildly confused.

"Thanks," Willow said. "It's okay. We weren't close."

"Now I feel mostly sad for your goldfish," Cameron told her.

"I tried to bond!" Willow protested. "They don't come when you call them. It's very frustrating."

"True, I heard they're not very good at playing fetch either." He might be just joking now.

"I had high hopes for one but it didn't work out," Willow said. "Also? Roll over? Seems like a good trick at the time until you get panic attacks about having killed them."

Cameron laughed. "I think having a goldfish as a pet might be too stressful."

"Especially after the vampire attacks," Willow agreed.

"Yeah, you might want to stick to something less complicated. Rory's got a vampire puppy," he suggested.

"I've heard!" Willow said. "I haven't met it yet but it sounds like the cutest, most disturbing thing ever!"

"Vladdie's lots of fun," Cameron said. "A bit of a show off when it comes to the whole flying thing, but fun."

"Now I almost want one," Willow said. "'course it was hard enough with the kittens and Amy."

"Amy?" he asked.

"My rat," Willow explained.

"Ah. I'm afraid I only have a plain normal dog at home," Cameron said.

"What kind?" she asked. "Other than plain and normal."

"Black lab," Cameron said. "I kinda miss him, but this play is enough of a zoo already."

"Bridge was a ferret," Willow said, by way of agreement. "And some guy named Logan was a bunny."

"I was a wolfcub," Cameron supplied sheepishly.

Willow replied as any girl would.

"AWWWWWWWWWW!!!"

Cameron groaned. "It's less aw when you're the one who's fuzzy," he assured her.

"Sure, especially when it's hard to rub your own belly," Willow said. "Wait - you don't do this all the time, right? You're not a werewolf?"

"No," Cameron said quickly. "It was just a one off and I really didn't have the fangs to do much harm to anything bigger than a gremlin. And just for your information? They don't taste so great."

"Great, now what am I going to have for dinner?" Willow pretended to pout.

"I hear gnomes are pretty tasty," Cameron grinned, but right away felt guilty remembering Barry.
