Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

Dawn was watching classic movie musicals in the common room. If you could call singing along and doing strange and original choreography watching.

"Without pulling it the tide comes in,
Without your twirling it the Earth can spin,
Without your pulling it, the tide comes in
Without your twirling it, the earth can spin
Without your pushing them, the clouds roll by,
If they can do without you, ducky, so can I!"

"Definitely."

Parker came back with popcorn after talking with Tyler, and settled back in. "Gene Kelley rules all. I love the bits in American in Paris, but a lot of that movie didn't make sense. This one does."

"Yes. And Donald O'Connor, so it doesn't ever get boring." Parker took a bite of popcorn. "But God, I wanted to be Cyd Charisse." She looked a little embarassed after that slipped out.

Parker nodded, then started humming along with the music. "Exactly." She took another bite of popcorn. "But I think Debbie Reynolds beats out Leslie Caron on the fun factor."

"See, yes," Parker said, pointing toward Dawn like she was Exhibit A. "He's far too amusing to be left alone. We need to import someone for him too, the way I was saying for Liza." She cocked an eyebrow. "Barring that, he marries both Don and Cathy."
