Dawn was watching classic movie musicals in the common room. If you could call singing along and doing strange and original choreography watching.

"He got thrown, he was airborne, it was a thing. He got knocked out, poor guy. I just got bruised." She made a face. "Of all the powers I envy on occasion, I think fast healing is at the top of the list."

"Yeah me too. Though I guess I have that right now." Dean grinned. "Almost makes me want to go out and get hurt so I can make use of it."

Parker shook her head, amused. "Alec has superhealing? Cool. Although yeah, I wouldn't play with knives just to test it."

"Superhealing, super speed, super strength, even this really neat thing with the vision, kinda like a zoom lens," Dean said with enthusiasm. "It's been fun trying out all these things. Don't get me wrong, I still want my own body back, but it could be worse."

Parker snickered, then said, "So, not human, then. The vision thing is new. Is he an alien? Or a mutant? We've got a lot of those this term."

"Mostly human. Just genetically enhanced. In lots of cool ways, apparently."

"Hunh. Interesting." Parker shook her head. "And fun, to judge by the healing and speed and all." And another person the Centre should never, ever get their hands on. "How's he handling the switch?"

Dean grinned. "He's sulking because he's oh my god human."

Cackling, Parker said, "It's good for him. Everyone too used to being super should spend a day or two human. I never saw Angel whiiiiine so much as when he was getting over being sick. I think it made him more cautious, though."

"A little humility might be good for Alec too," Dean agreed.
