Dawn was watching classic movie musicals in the common room. If you could call singing along and doing strange and original choreography watching.

Jamie gave Tyler a suspicious look. "You feel close to Nadia? I've never seen you two hang out."

"We talk!," Tyler said defensively. "We talked for a long time in the common room last week. And I think some more on Sunday."

"Just be careful around her," Jamie warned. "Her boyfriend's got a mean streak and she carries a meat tenderizing mallet with her everywhere."

"She carries a mallet?" Tyler asked, suddenly more intereseted. "Um, I mean that sounds really weird. Watch out or she'll mallet you in your sleep."

"She hit me with it my first day on campus," Jamie admitted. "It was a misunderstanding of course."

"Of course," Tyler agreed, looking skeptical.

"The fact that I was in her underwear drawer was just because I didn't realize she had taken that dresser already."

Tyler was biting back a laugh. "Naturally," he said. "So what type of underwear does she wear?"

"Did I mention she carries a mallet with her everywhere?" Jamie responded. "If you want to know what kind of underwear she has you can find out from her."
