Gym, early morning

After waking up and realizing that she'd missed three whole days of practice, Buffy ran down to the gym to work out like woah. Said work out consisted of a lot of jumping and doing cartwheels inbetween yelling "GO GREMLINS!"

"I was thinking maybe Maryland or New Mexico." Conner makes a slightly disgruntled face. "You don't really have big soccer schools around here like you have basketball schools or football schools. Again, this is my problem."

"Be the next Pele', and that'll change." Parker grinned. "Aim high. It'll be fun even if you can't reach the summit, I guess."

Conner tossed the ball up into the air and did a brief but flashy footwork drill, as fast as he could manage it. His eyes were glinting with excitement by the time he stopped.

"It's always fun."

Side-kick, elbow-strike, front-punch to the bag, and Parker grinned back. "Not bad at all."

"Thanks." Conner watched her for a few more seconds, nodded, and took another run through his orange cone obstacle course.
