Anakin? Had time on his hands.

Anakin? Had learned how to make paper starfighters.

This? Was a bad combination.

Sitting on the couch, he controlled seven of the paper missiles through the Force as they flew around the room.

Why yes, he was making little shooting noises as they chased each other. And the crash and burn sound, too.

He just didn't realize he was doing it.

Someone want to point it out?

Anakin looked stricken. "I didn't mean for it to hit that hard," he said, staring at his boots.

"It didn't hurt," she said quietly, pitching the weetiny paper ship at his head.

It poked him right on the forehead. "Poor Obi-Wan's ship," he said, smiling as it fell to the floor.

Anakin flailed. "You brought up the pirates wanting trysts!"

"Are you trying to blame this on Angelica Demesnes?"

"...possibly?" Anakin looked at Rory. "Who is that?"

"The author of the pirate and ninja books," Rory said in such a tone that indicated he should already know this.

"...because I read your pirate and ninja books," Anakin said, rolling his eyes.

"I don't read them...." Rory said, oh so convincingly.

"You look at the pictures?" Anakin looked supremely weirded out.

"No!" Rory said shrilly. "I don't have anything to do with them!"

Anakin bit his lip and grinned. "Suuuuure you don't."

"I don't," Rory repeated sulkily, turning very red.

It's sad that Rory forgot that Anakin knew exactly what was in her nightstand.

Anakin gave her another cocky smile, then changed the subject. "What have you been up to today?"

"I woke up and read," she said. "Um. Proust, not Demesnes. Just to clarify."

Anakin gave her another smirk. "Right."

Rory rolled her eyes. "Boys," she muttered.

"I've been vaccinated," Anakin pointed out, wadding up the Obi-Wan starship and chucking the ball of paper at her.

"Dammit, I forgot," Rory said as the ball of paper hit her nose. "Fine. I am rubber, and you? Are totally glue."

"Am not," Anakin countered like someone who'd been a diplomat for a decade.

Which meant he didn't also include sticking his tongue out and blowing a raspberry. How big of him.

Anakin cracked up. "I'm totally using that the next time Obi-Wan is annoying," he said, laughing.
