4th Floor Common Room: Thursday Evening

Blair checked that the common room was empty before sneaking in and setting close to the television. His package arrived in the mail today and he had been waiting until now to pop it into the DVD player.

Doing one final check around the room he reached up and hit play, bouncing excitedly as the theme song music for "Runner, Texas Ranger" started.

Cause the eyes of a ranger are upon you, any wrong you do he's going to see. When you're in Texas, look behind you...cause that's where the rangers gonna be.

Blair is totally not singing and bouncing along to the theme song. At all.

Dean chuckled as he entered the common room. "Y'know this is the second time this week I've walked in on someone singing. Must be something in the air."

"Singing?" Blair tried to pull off a confused look. "No singing here, just watching this show that I've never seen before and have no idea what it is. Seriously."

"Uh huh," Dean said, smirking. "Must've been the tv I heard then."

"Must have." Blair nodded. "Whatcha been up to lately, Dean?"

Jaye is slightly disturbed at seeing people in the fourth floor common room more. More disturbing is the fact that she's hung out in the fourth floor common room.

She heads out of her room, takes one look at the TV, and says, "Niiiice."

"Being Alec," Dean replied, flopping down on the couch. "Got bodyswapped Monday night. Just got changed back this morning."

"Hey," Dean said, grinning and waving at her.

"That's the one that looks like you, right?" Blair frowned. "Was it weird being in someone else's body that was just like yours?"

"Jaye! Hi!" Blair waved and bounced. "This...just happened to be on tv. Do you like this show?"

"Hey," she greets him, smiling. And remembering the last conversation they had- or she thinks they had- asks, "Used to it yet?"

"My dad went through a phase," she shrugs. "I liked watching it on mute."

Dean snorted. "Weird would be an understatement. Alec and me may look alike but there's a hell of a lot that's different. It's good to be back in my own skin."

"Used to what?"

"The body thing, not dirty," she explains.

"Oh. That. Yeah, I can safely say that at this moment it feels like I've had this body my whole life," Dean said with a smirk.

"How 'bout the hair?" Jaye asks, looking at it critically.

"Your dad sounds cool." Blair bounced. "How's life been, Jaye? Anything exciting happen?"

"It's grown on me."

"I wonder what's weirder. Being traded with someone who could be your twin or someone who's looks totally different." Blair smiled. "If you ever trade bodies with someone who doesn't look like you, let me know. I'd love to interview you!"

She shrugs. "I think I like yours better," she says. "Not a slam to your not-hair, just a preference."

"Well, in the last week I'm still dating a cheerleader and don't remember a day," she says. "You?"

"Boy cheerleader or girl cheerleader?" Blair bounced. "I got to shimmer with Bel this afternoon! It was so cool!"

Dean chuckled. "I'm planning on staying firmly in my own body from now on if I can help it, but I'll keep it in mind. So what have you been up to lately? Any luck getting Hank to grow?"

Dean shrugged. "Can always grow this out if I get tired of it."

"How long are you planning on staying like this?" she says. "I will shake down Willow if I have to."
