4th Floor Common Room: Thursday Evening

Blair checked that the common room was empty before sneaking in and setting close to the television. His package arrived in the mail today and he had been waiting until now to pop it into the DVD player.

Doing one final check around the room he reached up and hit play, bouncing excitedly as the theme song music for "Runner, Texas Ranger" started.

Cause the eyes of a ranger are upon you, any wrong you do he's going to see. When you're in Texas, look behind you...cause that's where the rangers gonna be.

Blair is totally not singing and bouncing along to the theme song. At all.

Dean chuckled as he entered the common room. "Y'know this is the second time this week I've walked in on someone singing. Must be something in the air."

"Singing?" Blair tried to pull off a confused look. "No singing here, just watching this show that I've never seen before and have no idea what it is. Seriously."

"Uh huh," Dean said, smirking. "Must've been the tv I heard then."

Jaye is slightly disturbed at seeing people in the fourth floor common room more. More disturbing is the fact that she's hung out in the fourth floor common room.

She heads out of her room, takes one look at the TV, and says, "Niiiice."

"Hey," Dean said, grinning and waving at her.

"Hey," she greets him, smiling. And remembering the last conversation they had- or she thinks they had- asks, "Used to it yet?"

"Jaye! Hi!" Blair waved and bounced. "This...just happened to be on tv. Do you like this show?"

"My dad went through a phase," she shrugs. "I liked watching it on mute."

"Dude. People." Jude was continually surprised.

And none of them were Setsuna. Bummer.

"Jude!" Blair pointed at the tv and bounced. "Ranger!" For some reason he wasn't embarrased about watching Runner, Texas Ranger in front of Jude.

Must be because he was Canadian.

"Duuuuuuuuuude, Ranger." Jude flopped down beside Blair. Nope, no shame.

Bridge wanders in to the Common Room.

"What're we watching?" he asks, curious.

"Some ranger show," Dean said. "Pull up a couch and sit down."

"As long as it's not Dekaranger," Bridge grumbles, grabbing a spot on a couch.

"Hi Bridge!" Blair waved. "Singing kicking ranger show! It totally rocks."

"It's not Dekaranger, is it?" Bridge asks warily. "Because I'm telling you, dude, that show is totally inaccurate."

Marie was bored since her mun had no computer access all day and ended up wandering into the fourth floor common room.

"Hey, Blair!" she greeted with a grin. "I haven't seen you since the slumber party. How've you been?"

"Hey Marie." Blair waved happily. "I've been good. I've been focusing on my workshops a lot. Oh! And I got fish! Did I have fish the last time I saw you?"

"I don't think you did," Marie said, grinning. "What kind of fish? What's his name?"

Dean smiled at the newcomer. "You're a cheerleader aren't you?" he asked, vaguely remembering seeing her at the practice he'd attended to keep an eye on Alec.

Marie raised an eyebrow. "No, that was someone else you were tossing around yesterday," she replied, thinking Alec was being goofy or something.

"Marie, hi!" Bridge waves cheerfully.

Conner had accidentally gone up one too many flights of stairs and was about to head back down to the third floor when he heard something about rangers.

He stuck his head into the common room and looked around suspiciously. "What are you guys watching?"

"Some kind of Ranger show..." Bridge supplies. "But *not* Abaranger. Or Dekaranger. Or any of *those* kind of Ranger shows."
