4th Floor Common Room: Thursday Evening

Blair checked that the common room was empty before sneaking in and setting close to the television. His package arrived in the mail today and he had been waiting until now to pop it into the DVD player.

Doing one final check around the room he reached up and hit play, bouncing excitedly as the theme song music for "Runner, Texas Ranger" started.

Cause the eyes of a ranger are upon you, any wrong you do he's going to see. When you're in Texas, look behind you...cause that's where the rangers gonna be.

Blair is totally not singing and bouncing along to the theme song. At all.

"Must have." Blair nodded. "Whatcha been up to lately, Dean?"

"Being Alec," Dean replied, flopping down on the couch. "Got bodyswapped Monday night. Just got changed back this morning."

"That's the one that looks like you, right?" Blair frowned. "Was it weird being in someone else's body that was just like yours?"

Dean snorted. "Weird would be an understatement. Alec and me may look alike but there's a hell of a lot that's different. It's good to be back in my own skin."

"I wonder what's weirder. Being traded with someone who could be your twin or someone who's looks totally different." Blair smiled. "If you ever trade bodies with someone who doesn't look like you, let me know. I'd love to interview you!"

Dean chuckled. "I'm planning on staying firmly in my own body from now on if I can help it, but I'll keep it in mind. So what have you been up to lately? Any luck getting Hank to grow?"

"Well just let me know, man." Blair shrugged. "I haven't been up to much lately, just focusing on my workshops. Willow and I repelled frogs with dancing today and I shimmered with Bel. That was totally awesome."

"Nothing on the Hank front. I even tried to give him extra attention since I got new pets...but he's still a seed."

"Do I even want to know what shimmering is?"

Blair stood to demonstrate. "Bel grabbed my hand in the park and then all of a sudden-" He jumped sideways a couple of feet. "We were in the attic! It was totally cool."

"Teleportation? Yeah that is cool. And nowhere near as dirty as it sounded."

"Dirty?" Blair blushed. "Really not a dirty thing. It's Bel, man!"

Dean shrugged. "Some people like demons like that."

"It's not not-dirty because he's a demon." Blair sighed. "It's not dirty because he's Bel. He's like Angel to me. Well, sorta. Less of the big brother thing and more like a good friend."

"He still walking around all red and demonic?" Dean asked curiously.

"Not anymore, he's not. He's all better." Blair figured that was safe to tell. He'd keep how it happened between Bel and himself. "Well, not that he was sick or something before. Just stuck."

"That's cool, I guess. Did he ever find out what was causing it?"

"You'd have to ask him." Blair shrugged.

Dean nodded. "I might do that. I'll see him in archery if not before."

"It's cool that you're concerned about him, man." Blair smiled. "I wouldn't have thought you two would have been friends."

"We're not really. But..." Dean shrugged. "He doesn't seem like that bad a guy -- for a demon."

Blair smiled widely. "Very cool, man." He watched the credits roll on the current episode.

"I'm heading to bed man, but feel free to keep watching the dvds."
