5th Floor Common Room - Starting at 11am FHT Sunday

Peter had his St. George's cross flag close by as he waited impatiently for the match to begin.  England vs. Ecuador with continued participation in the World Cup at stake.

He had run down to J, GOB ostensibly to get some pastries to share for breakfast but really because he couldn't sit still any longer so there was a selection of muffins and doughnuts on one of the tables.

Now for the football to start...

"So Walter told me," or at least he will in a second she said, "But, sleeping through an entire day tends to leave one confused about this sort of thing."

Seras groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"An entire day?" Peter said with concern. "Are you well? Should we take you to the clinic?"

Seras shrugged.

"I feel okay. Sort of groggy. But, then I just woke up. Plus, I guess I haven't eaten in twenty four hours or so..."

Peter offered Seras the plate of pastries from earlier. He'd been nervous when buying them so gone a bit overboard on quantity. Thus there were plenty still to choose from.

"On the plus side? England's winning."

Seras picked out a cherry danish and bit into it.

"Thanks," she said after swallowing, "And we are? By how much?"

"You're welcome," Peter replied. "And it's 1-0. Beckham scored a brilliant goal off a free kick."

Seras grinned.

"Brilliant. The more I see of this Beckham, the more I like him."

Then her smile faltered.

"But, I missed seeing it," she sighed.
