Second Floor Common Room [Thursday Morning]

Bridge was bored. So he'd dragged the telekinesis ball out of his room, since he hadn't practiced in a while, and sat down crosslegged on a couch in the common room to do so.

After a few minutes, he had the ball floating in a lazy circuit around the room.

"Whoa, hey, cool. Telekinesis ball," Z observed as she came into the common room. "Hi, second floor people! I come in peace!"

"Hi Z!" Nadia waved.

"Hi, Nadia! Long time no see! Summer treating you well?"

"Pretty much, yeah. You?"

"This place is so cool. Yesterday I got to meet Ninjor!"

"Wow." Nadia blinked. "Who's Ninjor?"

"He's, like..." Z flailed for an explanation. "He was a mentor to some of the Power Rangers. He gives people their ninja powers. I'm a pangolin. Except not really, because I think you have to go to an academy or on a quest or something."

"Power Rangers." Nadia knew she'd heard that phrase before. "Well, cool. Did he like you?"

"Well, he hasn't responded yet... I hope so."

Nadia shrugged. "I'm sure he did. So, what else has been going on?"

"Not much, really. I've been reading a lot."

"Yeah? About what?"

[multiplez]

"Pirates and ninjas and their romantic adventures in the Caribbean. Y'know. The usual."

Nadia laughed. "Sounds like fun. Who are the good guys, the pirates, or the ninjas?"

"They're both the good guys! They're married, in fact. It's the evil sheikhs you have to watch out for."

"Ohhhhh. I think maybe I should read this book." It would sure beat out reading about World War II.

"They're by Angelica Demesnes, and they're all in the library. And they get crazier as the series goes on."

"Z!" Bridge chirps. "Hi!"

"Hi, Bridge!" She gestured to the telekinesis ball. "I'm guessing that's you?"

"Yep!" Bridge grins. "Andros gave this to me, a while back. I've been practicing."

"Andros, Andros?"

"Yeah, dude. For a famous guy, he's all level-headed and stuff."

"Wow," was all Z could think of to say to that. "That's awesome."

"So what have you been up to since, well... Tuesday?" Bridge asks. "Are all your workshops done now?"

"Yep. I have absolutely nothing to do. Thinking of checking out some more trashy romance novels or something."
