Outside of the Stickbug cabin...

The rain had made things quite messy outside of the Stickbug cabin. So muddy Jamie was slipping and sliding all over the place.

At first it was by accident. However judging by the fact that Jamie is now taking a running start and sliding face first over the slick muddy ground wooting in delight.

"Always with the fighting." Blair rolled his eyes. "Violence is wrong!"

The statement would be more effective if it was not said while kicking mud at Peter.

Peter tried to defend himself for a second. "Big words," he called. "While you're attacking a man down!"

He launched himself at Blair's knees.

"Umph!" Blair tipped and fell into the mud, laughing and trying to get as much mud on top of Peter as he could. "Lets see how you like a mud shampoo, man."

"I've heard it's good for the hair!" Peter replied, laughing. He retaliated by scooping up mud and flinging it at Blair. Mud in the hair? Good possibility.

Blair sat back and watched a large clump of mud drip off a curl and hit his nose. "Well, that's going to be difficult to get out." He leaned forward to pat a rather mud-covered hand on Peter's back. "Do you think I should Jamie my shampoo bill?"

"No, but I think we should probably just go swimming instead of clogging the cabin showers up," Peter replied. He ran a muddy hand through his already mud-soaked hair. "But what else do you do on a muddy night?"

"Pippi told me about a tribe in Africa that eats mud." He glanced down at the handful in his hand and held it out to Peter. "Hungry?"

"I'll stick with biscuits, thank you," Peter said, grinning. "Perhaps a nice cup of tea? Leave the mud to those who grew up with it."

"Biscuits and tea." Blair for someone reason found that very funny tonight and giggled as he tried to repeat the words in a British accent. "I'm sure I could shape the mud into a biscuit-like shape."

He played with a patty until it was palm sized lump with grass on the top. "There you go, man. Enjoy!"

Peter eyed the lump as he took it. "Jolly good, old chap," he said in an exaggeratedly British accent. And then threw the mud biscuit back at Blair.

"Pip pip crumpets and bangers." Blair responded cheerfully as he tossed a particulary wet handful of mud back at Peter. "Thought you might like some tea."

Almost doubled over from the laughing, Peter flung mud back at Blair. "And that's your American soda."

Blair and Peter were really too close for him to be able to dodge that last volley but he dove to the side anyway, gathering more mud to toss. "Here's...I have no other British food comparisons. Here's mud. I hope you like it."

Peter flopped over onto his back. "Mud! Glorious Mud!"
