Outside of the Stickbug cabin...

The rain had made things quite messy outside of the Stickbug cabin. So muddy Jamie was slipping and sliding all over the place.

At first it was by accident. However judging by the fact that Jamie is now taking a running start and sliding face first over the slick muddy ground wooting in delight.

"Oh, crap." Parker ducked and turned to, suicidally, grab another handful of mud to fling behind her. "Nooo!"

Callisto threw mud at the back of Parker's head. Hard.

"Owwww." That was going to take forever to come out. And that motivated Parker to turn around, glare, and throw the handful of mud *much* more accurately toward Call's chest. "Back atcha!"

Callisto looked down at her chest. "Do you realise how long it'll take me to get that clean? Especially without help."

She ran, or rather skidded, at Parker with the intention of tackling her.

"Soooooo sorrry!" Parker called at her, bracing herself, and trying to grab Call as she barelled toward her. "NOT!"

And she grabbed onto her arms as Call hit her.

Callisto managed to slip an arm free.

To the outside observer, she might have then seemed to be attempting to smother Parker in the mud.

Kind of felt that way to Parker, too.

So she kicked backward, hoping to get Call on the knee, and dragged at the arm holding her head down.

Seriously, she didn't need a facial this badly.

Since it would be...unwise to actually kill a student, Callisto slackened her hold on Parker enough to let her up.

Parker came up-- coughing and slinging mud. "AGHHH!"

Callisto shook the mud off her face before aiming another handful at Parker.

Which Parker caught, regaining her feet, and ending up with muddy hands. Which she proceeded to try to slap onto Callisto. "You. Need. Body. Art!"

Callisto responded to this by trying to rub more mud in Parker's hair. "Sorry, but you're not my choice of body artist!"

Parker tried to whip her hair out of Callisto's hands, spraying mud everywhere. "Noooo!"

Stumbling back, she held up her hands again, warily, panting for breath. "You realize, there may be guys watching who are getting too much fun out of this."

Callisto shrugged. "Since the only one whose opinion of it matters to me isn't here, I don't really care."

Parker glared at her. "I *knew* you were going to say that. Jesus, Callisto. You're becoming predictable. What the hell? Is this all you're going to do for the rest of the summer?"

Callisto face went blank. "Well, I'm sorry I don't forget people quickly enough for your taste."

"I'm not forgetting him! And I don't expect you to! I just talked to him yesterday!" Parker flipped hair out of her face with the back of her wrist. "But this, this, I don't know what the hell this is, with you angry and not going there and not getting better and all of it you're blaming on him! I don't. Get it!"

"Well, Parker," Callisto bit out. "Maybe you're not supposed to get it. Maybe this is something you can't just throw shoes at until it gets better."

"Fine. Great. Whatever. I'm too dense to understand." Parker raised her hands in an I-give-up sign of defeat. "Suffer, then." She turned away, looking tired. "I'm sorry."
