Stickbug Campfire - Early Saturday Morning

Peter made a small fire in the Stickbug campfire and started to boil water for tea.  Yes, there was an easier way.  This just tasted better.

He also had cookies and marsmellows.  The breakfast of champions.

After seeing what things were like in her cabin, Willow went to check on some of the other students.

If Peter's cabin happened to be her first stop well, these things happened.

Even if you had to go out of your way.

Peter looked up from his fire and grinned when he saw Willow. He stood up and bowed. "Good morning, Lady!" he said. Or tried to. He cleared his throat and wondered if the tea was ready yet.

Willow was already way ahead of him on this one. She bypassed trying to say hello by talking and instead went directly for a tight hug and a kiss.

Not that she'd been worried about him or anything. Ahem.

Cameron had been out early to go running. When he returned, he noticed Peter at the campfire. "Yo! Stickbug brother!" He blinked as he didn't hear himself talk. Clearing his throat, he tried to repeat the greeting but nothing came out.

"Dude?"

Peter glanced up to see Cam coming up the path. He waved then shrugged then waved again.

"What's going on?" Cameron tried one more time and frowned as nothing came out. With a sigh, he sat down at the campfire.

Willow gave Cam a silent wave.

Cameron waved back and motioned toward his throat as if to ask if Willow couldn't talk either. He liked to double check.

Gwynn had become worried when she realized that no one seemed to be able to talk. She left her own cabin and went wandering to others to check on people.

"Yo!" Cameron said automatically, forgetting the whole non voice thing for a second. Sighing, he settled for a wave.

Gwynn also sighed and walked over to Cameron. So it wasn't just her cabin.

She raised an eyebrow at him in question.

Peter waved to Gwynn. And offered tea.

Looking worried, Tyler emerged from the woods and made a beeline for the campfire, with River not far behind.

"Can anyone talk?" he mouthed.

Then he groaned. Silently.

Cameron shook his head, but that might me just to let Tyler know that he couldn't hear him.

River looked at the people around the campfire and flapped her arms in frustration.

Peter simply waved.

After talking- or not- to the others in Meerkat, Aeryn heads next door. She seems perfectly calm, even if she is worried and wants her weapon. Touching her throat as a hi, she waves.

Cameron looks up, eyes slightly widening and he really hopes Peter doesn't start making funny propositions. He gives Aeryn a wave and motions to the tea and cookies to distract himself.

Peter saluted Aeryn and tried not to grin about the conversation Cameron and he might have been having earlier. Or perhaps not. He wasn't sure.

Molly wanted to see for herself how widespread the problem was so she stopped by the Stickbug cabin first.

Still carrying the notebook she'd been writing in earlier, she waved to the people there.

Peter waved at Molly. Hi he mouthed. Tea?

Greg wandered out of the cabin after somehow sleeping through everything and waved to everyone, scrubbing a hand through his hair.
