Stickbug Campfire - Early Saturday Morning

Peter made a small fire in the Stickbug campfire and started to boil water for tea.  Yes, there was an easier way.  This just tasted better.

He also had cookies and marsmellows.  The breakfast of champions.

Peter cocked an eyebrow then made a gesture indicating the whole camp.

Everyone? he mouthed.

And in strange situations, hands were held. One must understand that.

Willow shrugged. She tried to indicate that so far everyone she'd talked to was silent, but that was hard to do with pantomime. Especially when you didn't have a hand free and weren't inclined to take it back anytime soon.

Peter tugged on her hand to sit down by the fire since he still had a lingering suspicion about the tea. And if it didn't solve the problem? At least there would be tea.

Willow sat down beside him. She used her free hand to lightly brush against his cheek. You okay? she mouthed.

Peter smiled at her and squeezed her hand. Yes. You? he mouthed.

Willow nodded. She squeezed his hand back and sat closer.

Not that she was feeling protective or anything.

Peter reached out to start to pull the kettle off the fire and start the tea brewing.

He sat back and mouthed any ideas why?

Willow shook her head. Fandom she guessed.

Peter made a face. Very, very strange

He hugged her and offered a cup of tea with two lumps of sugar.

Willow hugged him back. Then, since her hands were temporarily free, she mimed for him to hold on to the tea for a second.

She took her backpack off and pulled out her computer, opening it up so they could use it to write on.

Of course she hadn't exactly cleared the screen (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/706871.html?thread=47868983#t47868983) of the things she and Marie had written in nice, big fonts.

Willow blanched when she saw what was there and hastily tried to pull up a new window.

Peter was watching curiously to see what Willow was doing with the computer and so really couldn't miss at least part of the screen.

He blushed. A lot. And then focused on holding the tea steady.

Willow caught the blush and turned bright red herself.

Not looking Peter in the eye she typed.

Darn that spam.

Peter tried to mime that it wasn't like that at all and that it was just radio being strange and who knew what Anders had meant. Except he was holding tea and that's a difficult thing to mime anyway.

Willow at least knew the look of one who was eeping about as much as she was. She gave him a sympathy kiss on the cheek, then took a cup of tea from him.

Peter was still blushing slightly and leaned into her a bit. Gently though because tea and computers don't mix.

Willow smiled at him and leaned back. She took a sip of tea because if he could learn not to play basketball after being beaten up by a demon, she could certainly sip tea on the odd chance it might help a sudden case of Fandomitis.

Preparing his own cup of tea, Peter took a sip.

"Better," he said. Or tried to say. The look he gave the cup of tea at its betrayal was very sad.

Still of the belief that no, seriously, Peter was cuter than a pile of puppies holding kittens with weetiny bunnies sitting on their heads, Willow gave him a sympathetic look and patted him on the back.

Peter certainly wasn't pouting at the tea, but he smiled sadly at Willow and shrugged.

Maybe it's not strong enough he mouthed.

Yeah, he just wasn't going to be this cute without getting smooched again. Law of nature at this point.

Peter was getting the impression that tea led to kissing. Which he really wasn't going to argue with at all or even dispute.

He set his tea down and kissed her back.

Willow leaned close to smooch him back, then nuzzled his cheek again. She did another mime to ask him to give her a sec, then typed

Peter glanced at her for permission to use her computer then typed

Willow grinned, reached over, and typed.

Peter stuck out his tongue at her.

Then he typed So we don't have any idea what's going on? It's not a spell of some sort?
