2nd Floor Common Room [Saturday Afternoon]

After recieving textmessages from Xander updating him on the situation- and the fact that everyone was going to be confined to dorms tonight- Bridge decided to venture out of 121 and up to the second floor common room. He's got the TV on and is sort of half-paying attention to it. Mostly it's just there to drown out the eerie quietness.

Cameron laughed, not that she would be able to hear it.

Veronica clasped her hands in front of her and mock-swooned.

Then she had to stop to type my hero in the phone.

Kind of made the whole gesture lose something.

Cameron snickered.

can you plz text that one? i'd like to have it as evidence, he gave her his best puppy look.

She rolled her eyes, but called up his number from her phone book and hit send.

Cameron smiled sweetly at her when he recieved the message and moutched Thank you.

better not get me in trouble with that Veronica typed, her gaze falling on the tiny wooden ship in front of them.

i wouldn't dream of it Cameron typed and gave her an innocent look.

Veronica wasn't buying the innocent look for a heartbeat.

good because i'd hate to have to kick your ass

This time, his smile was not as innocent.

Veronica nodded.

next week though. you still have to teach me to block kicks this week.

i suck at blocking kicks Cameron typed. Maybe he shouldn't have.

Veronica in no way made a mental note of that for whenever they ended up sparring.

should i get someone else to teach me that?

Cameron looked a bit put out as he typed his reply.

Veronica folded her hands together as if praying.

Laughing, Cameron started typing again.

Veronica's gaze drifted to the wooden sailboat and she gave Cam an apologetic smile.
