2nd Floor Common Room [Saturday Afternoon]

After recieving textmessages from Xander updating him on the situation- and the fact that everyone was going to be confined to dorms tonight- Bridge decided to venture out of 121 and up to the second floor common room. He's got the TV on and is sort of half-paying attention to it. Mostly it's just there to drown out the eerie quietness.

This SUCKS. Demyx wrote back, pouting. I like talking.

Parker laughed silently, nodding in total agreement. Bored! Worried! Frustrated! Then she added, I have a couple extra whiteboards, if you want one.

Please. I can talk in music but it's hard. He sighed heavily.

Parker handed over a whiteboard and a marker, lips twitching, then wrote, How long have you been playing? nodding to his sitar.

Forever? Demyx shrugged. Had it ever since I can remember, and knew how to play it before then. He showed her the message, then erased it and wrote again. But I only remember about 6 years or so. That's when I became a Nobody. I don't know who I was before.

Parker frowned at that, then wrote: Nobody?

Yeah. It's what I am. Explaining Nobodies with a whiteboard was really, really going to be difficult, Demyx thought.

Tell me more later? Parker offers, sensing a typcally long Fandom High story. You like it here?

I will. Remind me. Demyx looked very obviously relieved. I miss home. Kindof.

Yeah. Magic there? Parker asked, since this is usually the biggest adjustment.

Yes. And Axel. Demyx sighed, then added: And Roxas. He was missing when I was killed and ended up here.

Another ex-dead-guy? Sheesh. Sorry to hear that. Maybe you'll see them later? she offered, thinking of Lily Kane.

I hope so. Demyx shrugged. Trying to just ignore it though. Trying to be happy. He forced a smile. Easier.

Understandable.

Lacking anything more comforting, Parker offered him a fortune cookie.

Demyx accepted it with a small smile. Cracking it open, he read the fortune...and facepalmed. You will find happiness with a new love.

Parker frowned. Bad cookie?

Weird fortune. Demyx handed her the slip of paper.

Parker raised an eyebrow. Then wrote:

Someone in the Chinese restaurant is trying to get a date?

Must be. Demyx shrugged, tossing the fortune in the garbage before adding: Not that I'd mind.
