After being instructed to return to the dorms, Marie decided she may as well still cook since she had handwavy bought the food the previous day.

So she set up to start assembling lasagna in the common room. Maybe a home cooked meal would comfort some people.

Joxer threw some of his inhibition to the wind, and leaned in to try and kiss Kaylee on the throat.

Kaylee smiled and let him. Hey, it was distracting her from potential doom.

"A little," Kaylee mouthed. Then she hugged him again.

Joxer hugged Kaylee tightly, just holding on to her. He had no idea what was going on, but this seemed the best idea, really.
