After being instructed to return to the dorms, Marie decided she may as well still cook since she had handwavy bought the food the previous day.

So she set up to start assembling lasagna in the common room. Maybe a home cooked meal would comfort some people.

Zack waved back, also pointed to the food and gave Marie a thumbs up.

Marie nodded and mimed eating, then pointed at Zack and made puppy dog eyes. There was so much food.

Zack grinned and rubbed his belly. Mmm...good smelling food.

Marie grinned back, glad for the appetites of teenage boys.

Though that reminded her that one boy in particular hadn't shown up and that was worrisome.

After filling his plate with food, Zack tilted his head at Marie in concern. "Everything okay?" he mouthed.

Marie nodded. "You?" she mouthed back.

Zack nodded, and gestured to indicate that if indeed Dawn had been looking for a virgin sacrifice to regain their voices earlier, Molly hadn't been angry enough about the cold water to sell him out.

Or he wanted to be a dancing butterfly one day.

Marie tilted her head at him trying to figure out why the heck he was talking about butterflies at a time like this.

Shrugging it off, she gestured to ask if he was enjoying his meal. Which may have looked like some odd yoga pose.

Zack gestured that he was pretty sure that doing that wouldn't greatly improve his digestion.

It may have looked like he was pretending to be Bitterwoman.

Marie hadn't ever seen Bitterwoman, so she was just confused.

Well, more confused.

Finally she remembered her tablet and grabbed it.

Have you heard anything about what caused this?

Zack opened up his laptop and started typing.

Dawn and Xander "said" something about some sort of demon things?

Marie frowned at that as she wrote.

I guess they aren't good demons like Bel...
