3rd Floor Common Room, Sunday Night

Angela had spent most of the weekend holed up in her room, deliberately working her way through a Francesca Lia Block anthology and emerging only to sip oversweetened coffee and gaze soulfully at fruit salad.

But all good things must come to an end. Which is why she was in the common room, watching an I Love the 90's marathon on VH-1 and hoping someone would tell her she doesn't look that goofy.

Company would be welcome.

"No, not really," Zack said. "But we painted each other's toenails."

Angela awwwwed at that. "What color are yours?" she asked, tilting her head to see if Zack was wearing sandals.

"This was during that voiceless heart-stealing demon weekend," Zack didn't mention whether he still had the polish on. "Mine were green."

And Angela went awwww again. "Guys with nail polish are hot."

Zack totally wasn't blushing. Really. His face was always this shade of pink.

Angela giggled at the blushing. "So what do you like to do, other than get pedicures?"

"Study, mostly," Zack replied. "Playing basketball, game of pool sometimes."

"OH, are you on the team?" Angela asked. "I heard there was a game yesterday, but I'm not really a sports person."

"Yeah," Zack said, smiling. "We won."
