chasingangela: (over shoulder)

3rd Floor Common Room, Sunday Night

Angela had spent most of the weekend holed up in her room, deliberately working her way through a Francesca Lia Block anthology and emerging only to sip oversweetened coffee and gaze soulfully at fruit salad.

But all good things must come to an end. Which is why she was in the common room, watching an I Love the 90's marathon on VH-1 and hoping someone would tell her she doesn't look that goofy.

Company would be welcome.

Willow patted him on the shoulder. "It's a queen now, sweetie. But she's old. I bet you could take her."

"Take her where?" Peter asked, possibly starting a retalitory tickle.

Willow eeped and squirmed, trying not at all hard to defend herself. "In a fight! Take her in a fight."

"I don't think the courts would rule that as very chivalrous," Peter pointed out.

"Well now you're just tying my hands," Willow said. And no, no mental images there at all.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes, the rules of chivalry handicap us all," Peter said, dryly.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
"Some of us aren't knights," Willow pointed out, smugly.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
"The metaphorical all?" Peter tried again.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm just pointing out there are no rules of chivalry that keep me from doing this," Willow said, and pounced on him for more tickling.

Peter 'eep'd' though he'd deny it and tried to distract her with a kiss.

Willow could multitask.

She kissed and tickled at the same time.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Which was very, very unfair as far as Peter was concerned. He threw over the idea of defensive tactics and immediately started trying to tickle her back.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
Willow squeaked and clutched at him. "Meanie!"

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
Peter took advantage of her clutching and redoubled his attacks. "Not really, no."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Willow eeped and nearly fell over.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
Peter caught her before she fell on the doughnuts. "See? Hardly mean!"

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Willow smiled up at him like a big doof. "Yay chivalry."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
"It has its uses," Peter said, smiling back at her. "I'd not want you to be hunted down by the doughnut police for hurting a box of doughnuts."

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
"I appreciate that," Willow said, giving him a quick kiss. "Walk me to my room? I've got class in the morning, I should be good and try to sleep."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Of course," Peter replied, giving her a kiss back. "But the fifth floor smells like paint, just to warn you,"

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm not going to ask," Willow said. She threaded her fingers through his and tugged on his hand to lead him upstairs.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
"I didn't do it," Peter protested as he followed her out of the Common Room.
