2nd Floor Common Room - Sunday Evening

Veronica and Archie decided to commandeer the second floor common room to use the good TV to watch Buccaneers of the Sea Not Entirely Unlike the Caribbean. There were homemade cookies and some other assorted snacks if anyone wanted to join them.

"I haven't seen this movie yet," Archie noted as he settled onto the couch next to Veronica with a cookie. "I've heard it's quite good though."

"I enjoyed it," Veronica said, putting her diet coke on the table in front of her. "That might have had something to do with the way the lead actor looks in eyeliner though."

"Oh really?" Archie quirked an eyebrow at her. "I'll have to see what I think of that when he comes onscreen."

Veronica chuckled. "I think he single-handedly made it sexy for guys to wear makeup," she told Archie.

"Am I going to need to make a shopping trip?" Archie teased. "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

"Not an everyday thing," Veronica assured him. "And it definitely wouldn't have gone with your navy uniforms."

"Which I am no longer required to wear," Archie pointed out. "But I suppose if you're ever deserving of a special treat . . ."

Veronica studied him carefully and nodded. "I think you could pull it off."

"Really?" drawled Archie. "You're tempting me again."

"Who me?" Veronica asked innocently. "Let's start the movie."

"The sooner we do, the sooner I can see for myself how he looks in eyeliner." Archie picked up the remote and, after a moment's hesitation, hit play.

Nadia, figuring the weekend was almost over, so she might be pretty much safe from Fandom weirdness, wandered down to the second floor common room. "Hi Veronica!"

Callisto wandered into the common room and flopped onto the nearest couch with a grunt. "Evening."

Pip poked his head. "What are we watching?"

"Hey!" Veronica smiled. "Have you seen this movie?"

Nadia looked at the screen and shook her head. "What movie is it?"

"The Buccaneers movie," Veronica said. "How was your date last night?"

Piper wandered into the common room and waved. "Hey Veronica."

"The one about Bucaneers," Veronica told her. "The lead guy looks hot in eyeliner."
