Pippi is sunning herself on the roof with her new friend. Regaling him, in Parstletoung, with stories about the last time she met one of his kind and whistling tunes to him.

He likes being whistled to.

"I got very wet." Pippi said. "And then somebody flew over the island in a plane and dropped snakes on us... I think they were a little unclear."

Tyler snickered at that. "Duh. The snakes are supposed to stay on the plane."

The snake lifted his head off Pippi's shoulder slightly.

"He agrees with you."

"He's a smart snake," Tyler said.

"Smart and modest," Tyler nodded, smiling a little. "I'm going to go take a shower, but I'll see you around."

He waggled his fingers in another wave at the snake and Pippi. "Bye."

The snake perked up at the waggling fingers and licked the air. If this was because he was saying good bye back or if he thought Tyler's hand was prey, it wasn't clear.
