Second floor common room [Evening]

Anakin had spent most of the day brooding meditating and replaying the trip to Coruscant in his mind.

The thoughts it had led to had been entirely too depressing.

That's why he had migrated up to the second floor common room and commandeered the television set.

Not that the last Space Battles prequel was any less depressing, but he could keep himself entertained by mocking the terrible technology and equally terrible dialogue.

Peter wandered down into the common room since his mun wasn't playing in space at the moment and took a seat.

He was still pretty geeked out over the fact that he went to another planet.

Figuring she can deal with Peter even in this sort of mood, she gives him a nod when he walks in.

"Hey, Aeryn," Peter said. "I spent yesterday morning in space!"

She almost smiles. Almost. "First time?"

"Yep! And I fly like Anakin, apparently," Peter geeked.

Having heard what she did on Coruscant about Anakin, Aeryn raises her eyebrows. "THat's impressive."

"Apparently he flies very wrecklessly and relies on his reflexes save his toosh," Peter said. "The important thing is that I was as fast as a normal human and didn't die."

"Good," she tells him. "You liked it?"

"On some level, yes. But I'd rather be a passenger. You can only have so many near-death experiences in ten minutes before you realize that maybe this isn't your thing," Peter explained. "But it was pretty awesome, seeing as how I survived."

"I'm glad you did," she says. "How did you like Coruscant otherwise?"

"Ewok fertility dolls not withstanding, yes," Peter said. "I met a few Jedi including this one who looks way too much like a guy I have issues with, and I had a chat with the Chancellor. Pretty cool experience, really."

"I quite liked it when I went," she says, and frowns. "Ewok what?"

"Never ask a shop owner there for something for your significant other," Peter said. "It was apparently anatomically accurate and everything."

"That's both horrifying and yet, not unsurprising of most shop owners I've met," she admits.

"I live in New York. I have the same reaction," Peter said. "Except for the fact that when I see that thing I think of it as a teddy bear with a wang, and that's just weird."

Aeryn stares. "What?"

"Like I said, anatomically correct Ewok," Peter said. "Freaky."

"I'm very glad to not know what an Ewok is."

"Also like I said, it looks like a teddy bear," Peter said. "It's disturbing on many levels."

"I don't know what that is and I'd like to remain ignorant," she explains.

"It's a fluffy toy bear that is the staple of many childhoods that has been ruined for me now and forever," Peter explained, ignoring Aeryn's wishes.

"All right, done with the descriptions now," she says seriously, not needing that image.

"Nothing else to describe," Peter said. "I think I'll leave you alone now, though, because where can the conversation go from there?"

Aeryn can think of a few places, which is why she says, "Best to end it here, yes."
