Second floor common room [Evening]

Anakin had spent most of the day brooding meditating and replaying the trip to Coruscant in his mind.

The thoughts it had led to had been entirely too depressing.

That's why he had migrated up to the second floor common room and commandeered the television set.

Not that the last Space Battles prequel was any less depressing, but he could keep himself entertained by mocking the terrible technology and equally terrible dialogue.

Peter chuckled. "He was saying something about revenge. Sounds like it may have worked?" He grinned back. "We have to just to get pleasure out of not being the tormented finally."

"Grrr. At least I got my next revenge pre-emptively. He *had* to be hungover this morning, as much Irish Coffee and margaritas as I poured down him," Parker grumbled. "And yeah, I'll have a whole new crew to mess with soon. Yes!"

Shaking his head at Parker, Peter tried not to laugh too much. "Anakin said something about substances from Corusant affecting him as well. Poor guy probably is completely miserable today."

"I don't think he would've believed me about drinking through the pain, if he hadn't already been high," Parker admitted without a trace of guilt. "Serves him right, the brat."

"So how exactly did your little feud start?" Peter asked, still shaking his head.

"He hit on me-- very crudely-- while high on Gremlin bite. But it really kept going because he won't give me the damn footage of me being ChaCha during the weekend we were all singing and dancing." Parker folded her arms, looking disgruntled. "So I'm doing things for him. For his own good. So he'll see the light." A beat. "And entertain me as much as those videos evidently entertained him."

Peter laughed. "He tried to bribe me with tape from that weekend too. Everyone here is very interested in footage of that. Veronica asked about it as well. You'd think with everything else going on." He considered her. "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye, remember." He almost got the statement out before grinning.

Parker snickered. "You are talking to the Queen of Revenge here, English. No one's lost an eye yet. And the next thing I have planned for Zack?" She smiled beatifically. "He'll thank me for it. Really."

"And here I just thought I was speaking to the Queen of Shoes and Chocolate," Peter said, chuckling. "My mistake, your Majesty. And you'll forgive me if I don't believe you about Zack?"

"Would you keep in mind our last basketball game is the first of September? And make sure he's not too bruised or battered that day?" Peter asked with a smile.

"Oh, fine. Be reasonable." Parker frowned, then brightened. "Shouldn't be a problem, I can schedule it for later."

Peter mock-sighed heavily, "It's a curse I struggle with. Besides, isn't revenge best served cold?"

"Believe me, it's had time to chill. It's been on ice." Parker rolls her eyes. "Or maybe it's just on a low simmer. Either way, the game is safe. And so is Zack the Hungover. For now."

"It's greatly appreciated," Peter replied with a smile. "We have few enough players as it is." He chuckled. "Plus, I'm fairly certain he's suffering enough just now. And I'll make him run tomorrow at practice."
