Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Bel was busy setting up the fifth floor common room. He pushed the couches and chairs to the walls to clear the center of the room, then arranged some pallets he'd found and shimmered upstairs to create a makeshift runway. He lined the edges with white christmas tree lights. Music, big flashlight to serve as a spotlight, yeah, he was set.

There was nothing like watching someone else humiliate themselves when you've suffered it the night before.

"Fashion show?" Dean looked immediately wary. "I'm guessing that's not all there is to it, knowing vaguely the kinds of things people get up to around here."

"He signed me up for that stupid fashion show," Bel grumbled. "So this is gonna be my revenge."

"A fashion show is kind of an unorthodox way to exact revenge, don't you think?" he said with a half-smile.

"Turn about is fairplay," Bel said. "If someone had signed your brother up against his will, he'd probably want some payback, too."

Dean raised an eyebrow. "My bro...oh! Oh. I'm Dean, not Sam."

Bel blinked. "Right. Looked in the mirror lately?"

Dean looked confused for just a second before saying "Um. Dean Forrester. Not Dean Winchester."

"Of course you're not Dean, you're Sam," Bel said, confused.

"No, Sam is Sam. Winchester. And Dean is Dean. Winchester. I'm Dean, too, but my name is Dean Forrester, not Dean Winchester." He pressed a hand against his temple. Ow. "I think."

Bel scratched his head. "So. You're Dean, but you look like Sam. What kind of screwed up place is this school?"

"That's exactly what I've been wondering ever since Sunday morning," he said with a laugh. "You're Bel, right? Walter filled me in. He's my Big Brother."

"Yeah, Belthazor," he said. "So, you're one of the new kids and a twin to boot?"

"Yup. Makes meeting people around here very interesting, that's for sure," he answered.

"I've got a twin, too," Bel said. "One of the doctors in town. But I'm younger and better looking."

Dean raised an eyebrow. "I'll take your word for it," he said, amused.

"So what did Walter tell you about me?" Bel asked, curious.

"Um," Dean thought back the previous day's common room antics. "That you're a mostly-reformed demon. And your human name is Cole Turner. Just the basics." He grinned, adding, "And then I saw your...rendition...of Kumbaya. It was inspiring."

Bel facepalmed. "Lost a bet," he muttered.
