Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Bel was busy setting up the fifth floor common room. He pushed the couches and chairs to the walls to clear the center of the room, then arranged some pallets he'd found and shimmered upstairs to create a makeshift runway. He lined the edges with white christmas tree lights. Music, big flashlight to serve as a spotlight, yeah, he was set.

There was nothing like watching someone else humiliate themselves when you've suffered it the night before.

"I mean, they don't feel quite right," Anders continued thoughtfully, putting both hands on the balloons to demonstrate, "but they've got the right sort of bounce, and . . ."

Stark took a step back before Anders got any ideas about wanting someone else to check the feel of his balloons.

"Lots of bounce. Yes. Don't feel right. Yes. I believe you. Really."

"Really!" Anders took a couple of big, wobbly strides toward Stark. "Wanna see?"

"I can see from here!" Stark yelped. "I can. Really."

"I hope so! They're big enough, Lords know." Anders looked down and prodded the side of the left-hand water balloon with one finger. "How do girls put up with these things twenty-four-seven?"

Reasonably satisfied that he wasn't going to be forced into fondling Anders's watery chest, Stark resumed his earlier staring.

"Definitely big enough. And I don't know. Never been a girl."

"Yeah, me neither. And after all the effort it took? I'm glad. Frakking makeup and hair and stuff, geez."

"Yes. Wait. No. I don't know. Don't have much hair. Easier that way. And no makeup," Stark said. "And definitely no dresses."
