4th Floor Common Room, After Classes

It's been a while since Isabel felt like cooking for the masses, but the first day of school seems like reason enough. After Interstellar Relations, she made a quick handwaved trip to town to pick up supplies. Now the music is playing and she's making chicken parm and pasta for whoever wants it.

[Free food! Do I have to say it? Open!!!! Now in the right spot.]

"Good evening, Dean," Cedric said and nodded. "How is your new room coming along?"

"Pretty good. I had a head start having been hanging out in there since mid-June so I was half moved in even before I moved. What about you? Getting used to having the room all to yourself?" Dean asked with a grin.

"It's taking some adjusting if I'm being honest," he said and shrugged. "I've never had to fill empty space. I'm thinking of getting a plant. And a chair. I did buy an ugly picture."

"A chair's a good idea. I've just got a lot of pillows and threw them on the spare bed so it kinda doubles as a couch. I want to see about maybe getting one of those mini fridges but in the meantime I've got a cooler." He paused and gave Cedric a puzzled look. "Why did you buy an ugly picture? Were they out of pretty ones?"

"It was all I could afford," he said sadly, trying to get the ugly picture out of his mind. "I'm not going to hang it but I should do something with it. Use it as a plate, perhaps?"

"If it's in a frame, you can always take it out and find somthing less ugly to put in it. You can find a photo you like maybe and have it blown up," Dean suggested.

"An idea I hadn't considered," he admitted. "I seem to be an impulsive person when it comes to buying things. Of course, buying that was better than stealing a chair from the common room as Jack suggested we do."

"Hey, that's not a bad idea." Dean looked around the room. "There's enough seating in here, they probably wouldn't notice one or two being relocated."

"That's what he said." Cedric glanced around, looking for something that suited him. "Might have to move it late at night so no one wonders why you're dragging a chair out of the common room."

"Oh definitely," Dean agreed. He grinned. "Tell you what, we can plan for a great chair heist later this week. I'll help you move one to your room, if you help me move one to mine."

"Sounds like a good plan," Cedric said and smiled slyly. "People need to sleep at some time. The heist can just take place when everyone's sleeping and not paying any sort of attention."
