4th Floor Common Room, After Classes

It's been a while since Isabel felt like cooking for the masses, but the first day of school seems like reason enough. After Interstellar Relations, she made a quick handwaved trip to town to pick up supplies. Now the music is playing and she's making chicken parm and pasta for whoever wants it.

[Free food! Do I have to say it? Open!!!! Now in the right spot.]

"True," Willow said. "Luckily Peter couldn't find him." She gave Bridge a shy smile. "Is it wrong that I kinda like it when he's all knightly?"

"No," Bridge smiles back. "Not at all. It's sweet. You two are a good pair."

"Thanks," Willow said. "I get nervous sometimes since I'm not British or courtly. But I don't think he minds. Or he says he doesn't and I'm starting to believe him." She gave Bridge a wry look. "After Oz there were some trust issues with the male half."

"I think he'd give you the moon if you asked," Bridge points out. "Not that you would, because if the moon wasn't where it was there'd be tidal issues, and that's probably a bad thing."

"Plus I'd have no place to put it since it's really big and I share a room," Willow replied.

"Yeah," Bridge nods. "I think Marie might object to a piece of the solar system inhabiting your room."

"And while the conversations would probably be very interesting, I think everyone else would resent me monopolizing the man on the moon's time," Willow said.

"Plus? Moon dust gets *everywhere*. I'm just sayin'."

"And think of how noisy it would be with all those dogs howeling at my room," Willow said.

"SPD's got a training camp there," Bridge notes. "So you'd have cadets tromping in and out of your room at all hours."

"So moon mud, all over the carpet," Willow said.

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2006-09-05 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Yep," Bridge nods, very seriously.

"Plus consider how frustrating it'd be to study with the moon's light constantly changing every night," Willow said. "There's just no way to buy bulbs to adjust for that."
