Thanks to a laundry...incident, Dawn was wearing the t-shirt she'd borrowed from Dean after the Meerkat cabin theft, which was way too long for her, and the skirt she'd stolen borrowed from Buffy before she left Cleveland, which was way too short. Not unlike Buffy, come to think of it.

Just so people would think it was intentional, though, she put up a small sign, hastily written on notebook paper and stuck to the door of the common room.

In other news, she was trying to learn her domesticated canine vocabulary for class on Monday.

"It was interesting," Peter said. "Mostly good, though. It's always nice to check in with the people back there."

Summer smiled. "Yeah, although I don't think I can tell anyone back home about what really goes on at this place."

"You just have to do some creative editing," Peter said. "You know a couple people who look alike, some people have really unique talents, and the teachers are weird. Leaving out the details works wonders."

Summer laughed. "Thanks for the tip. Because seriously, I think my dad would pull me out of this school if he knew the truth about it. I kinda like it here, so I wouldn't want that to happen."

"My aunt would do the same with me. She sent me here to get me away from crazy stuff. She had no clue," Peter said. "I've managed to keep this con going for eight months, so I think I'm safe."

"I think I'll manage," Summer said. "Like you said, I just need to be creative."

"That, and keep your grades up. Parents don't ask about monsters if their kids have decent grades. Simple fact that is easily exploited," Peter said.
