Thanks to a laundry...incident, Dawn was wearing the t-shirt she'd borrowed from Dean after the Meerkat cabin theft, which was way too long for her, and the skirt she'd stolen borrowed from Buffy before she left Cleveland, which was way too short. Not unlike Buffy, come to think of it.

Just so people would think it was intentional, though, she put up a small sign, hastily written on notebook paper and stuck to the door of the common room.

In other news, she was trying to learn her domesticated canine vocabulary for class on Monday.

"The Good Omens class, the Myth class, and the Pop Culture class," Joxer said. "Nothing really warlordy or hero-like. I think there was a screwup with my signup."

"You can totally be hero guy with the prophecies class," Dawn said encouragingly, "and the pop culture class."

"I can?" Joxer looked a little confused.

"How?"

"By being there when people need you," Dawn said, thinking of Xander.

"Oh," Joxer said, rubbing the back of his neck. "You think people might need a hero during the classes?"

"Maybe," she said with a shrug, "and they'll definitely need one when they're using what they've learned in class. Sometimes you just need to be the normal person in the chaos."

Oops. "Er...then you can be the hero that people come to in cases of emergency because they don't have anywhere else to turn?"
