Third Floor Common Room, Friday Evening

Thanks to a laundry...incident, Dawn was wearing the t-shirt she'd borrowed from Dean after the Meerkat cabin theft, which was way too long for her, and the skirt she'd stolen borrowed from Buffy before she left Cleveland, which was way too short. Not unlike Buffy, come to think of it.

Just so people would think it was intentional, though, she put up a small sign, hastily written on notebook paper and stuck to the door of the common room.

HAPPY PANTSLESS FRIDAY!

In other news, she was trying to learn her domesticated canine vocabulary for class on Monday.

"I'm sticking to skirts for now. My mum put long pockets in them before I left." She pulls out the end of her wand. "I'd feel naked without it."

"Are you allowed to use it here?" she asks. "I had to get special permission from the Ministry, but that might have had something to do with when I came from."

"Ummm" Lavender shifts uncomfortablely. "My parents didn't realyl tell the Ministry where I was going and um well I don't know that the Ministry can tell if we do magic here."

Lavender pursed her lips "Yet another thing the ministry doens't want us to know about. And yet another thing they can't control."

Lavender grinned. "We can probably do as much magic as we want as long we don't hurt anyone or anything."

Lavender chuckled. "I never said you would." Lavender didn't think the creator of SPEW could hurt somone intentionally. Lavender yawned.
"I'm gonna go to bed but we should ahve lunch or something this week."

"Merlin, don't do me any favors. I should have known better. Hermione Granger, it doesn't matter what world we're in you still think you're better than everyone else."

And with that Lavender flounced away, refusing to believe that Hermione Granger had hurt her feelings.
