Third Floor Common Room [Saturday Evening]

Having nothing better to do, Carmela was sprawled on a couch in the common room, channel surfing. Not so unusual.

What *was* unusual was the *way* she was doing it. The remote sat off to the side, untouched, and the TV was apparently changing channels on its own, every time Carmela said "No."

[ooc: a note about the Speech. It's in italics, and since it's the language of *everything*, your character will most likely hear whatever's being said as in their native language. If they listen especially carefully or have an ear for languages, they might be able to tell there's something unusual about it, though.]

"My teachers seem fine so far," Angela said mildly. "I can't belive I went for just three classes; I'll need to find something else to do with myself if they only meet once a week. And Ms. Readman is very nice. I'm cutting way back on my hours once she's hired some more people, though -- I need a change."

"I half-miss the idea of going in there for a day out of the week, but overall-- I think it was good that I quit when I did. So I can see that." She grinned. "The band is going to be called the Teal Deer, by the way. Free advertising for the cause. What else are you going to be up to, when you're not in the library?"

"Excellwent band name," Angela grinned. "And I'll know when I find it. I have a few ideas but nothing solid. I can't leave until I know the new people are happy, so it might be a few weeks."

"Cool. Ms. Readman will probably appreciate it. The Library has such weird luck with people, and you know there'll be 500 applications for aides." She grinned. "Hopefully? Teal Deer will be debuting at Caritas at the end of the month. If you want to do anything with that, or you know someone who does. I should probably tell Blair, too."
