Third Floor Common Room, Late Monday Morning

Angela woke up in a good mood.

And hungry. Very hungry.

Which is why she was currently making a batch of banana-nut muffins in the common room and watching a talk show on TV. It was featuring makeovers on Goth teenagers; Angela scowled at this a tiny bit as she measured out walnuts and preheated the oven.

"Flowers and pink look good on some girls," Conner conceded. Then, thinking of Kira, he added, "But I can think of some others who'd knock you unconscious before they let you do that to them."

"If that were me," Conner mused, "I'd keep it just long enough to see how many of my friends I could confuse."

Conner snickered. "I could do that to my brother next time I go home, maybe. I don't think X-Games athletes have too much experience with evil twin problems."

"Yeah, actual twin, actual athlete. Well, amateur mostly, but he's trying to go pro." Conner nodded, but rolled his eyes as if to say he didn't think rollerblading counted as a sport.

"Rollerblading. He mostly does little California regional things around Reefside and Blue Bay Harbor, sometimes Briarwood, Angel Grove, Silver Hills . . ." Conner ticked off town names on his fingers as he talked.

"Reefside's my town," Conner explained. "And I think those towns might only exist in my dimension, but California has got to have some kind of weird-town requirement in every dimension because I never heard of Sunnydale before I came here, either."

"I try not to think about it at all," said Conner. "It just gives me a headache. But it could work that way. Maybe. I think?"

"Right there with you," Conner said wholeheartedly. "Unless I ever run into an alternate version of me, I'm just going to pretend I'm unique."
