Fifth floor common room, Sunday evening

Nadia was doing a lot more staring vaguely at the television than she was actually watching whatever was on it. She'd cocooned herself in her wool poncho after discovering that it was actually getting a bit too cold to sit on the roof for a long time playing her guitar, which sucked, and finding things to distract her from thinking about, well, things, wasn't working terribly well.

The dorms were pretty quiet today. She was considering doing something to shake that up, but . . . apathy was winning. So staring vaguely at the television was the name of the game right now.

[ooc: it's a common room. I'm not sure if it actually has doors that close. Thusly, it is open.]

"I'll think of something good. I can't afford to lose my 'good boyfriend' badge now."

He gave her a squeeze and kissed the top of her head. "How are you since the trip to Hell? Any problems? Nightmares?"

"You don't deserve it," Walter said firmly. "But nightmares don't listen to reason. Do you want to stay with me tonight?"

Walter smiled and closed his eyes again, enjoying the touch. It was more soothing than if he tried to do the same thing himself. "I don't have any trouble sleeping with you there."

"Good." It was all normal enough. Nothing to worry about.

He was going to have to tell her. Just in case.

Another time. When he could think clearly.

"What else have I missed? There were some little creatures in my room, but they were quiet, so I ignored them."

"That sounds either ominous or dirty."
