Dorm Lobby - Just before sunset

Marie was waiting in the lobby for Willow and Peter to meet her so they could go trick-or-treating through town. She was mildly disappointed that Jamie had to work and couldn't join them, but she'd gladly recruit anyone who happened to be wandering through to join them.

[ETA: I'm heading home from work. Feel free to advance your characters to the town trick-or-treat post at your own speed :) If you want to handwave that your character ran into Marie and she convinced them to go, that's fine with me!]

"Yes," Zuko frowned at Peter's clothes. "What are you?"

"Cowboy," Peter replied with a grin. "They're in old movies."

Zuko frowned and wondered if a cowboy was like a cowpig. "No sword, I see."

"No, cowboys didn't use them," Peter explained. He pulled out one of the toy guns. "They used pistols instead."

"That doesn't look very sharp," Zuko remarked.

"It's not," Peter replied. He aimed the cap gun at the floor and shot it with a small bang! "They have real bullets in real guns though."

Zuko flinched as he hadn't expected the noise. "Bullets?"

"Metal - steel or silver or lead - projectiles, like arrowheads but rounder," Peter explained.

"Oh," he looked more thoughtful now. "How far can they go?"

"Depends on the type of gun and the shooter," Peter replied. "Farther than a bow and arrow."

"Really?" Zuko looked interested now. "Where would you get them?"

Peter shrugged. "Weapons merchant? I'd think Tex in town sells them. There's also quite a few in the weapons cabinet if you want to try one. Dean showed me."

He eyed the gun unsure. "It could be a benificial. We don't have any weapons like that in my world."

"We don't have them in Narnia either," Peter said. "And I wouldn't introduce them there for anything."

"They could give you the advantage," Zuko pointed out.

"It's not worth the advantage," Peter replied. "War is destructive enough without foreign weapons brought into the fray. I grew up during a major war in this world that used guns and bombs and hurt thousands of civilians. I'll not be responsible for the innocents in my country being hurt more by war."

Zuko remained quiet at what Peter said. He knew the advances the Fire Nation were making, he'd seen what they'd done to some of those innocents. "I suppose," he relented.

Peter threw Zuko a glance, half-surprised at the agreement. "Anyway, that's no talk for today. Shall you come trick-or-treating with us? It's silly, but the girls seem to want to."

"No, I think I need some rest," Zuko replied.

"Come for a short time then rest with candy afterwards," Peter said.

Zuko shook his head. "I uh... I'm tired now."

"Going to make me be the only boy with the two girls? I suppose I can handle it if they don't gang up on me," Peter joked with a smile.

"I'm certain that you can cope," Zuko assured Peter.

Peter grinned. "Probably. But if I don't? I'm blaming you."

"I am willing to live with that," Zuko assured him.
