Dorm Lobby - Just before sunset

Marie was waiting in the lobby for Willow and Peter to meet her so they could go trick-or-treating through town. She was mildly disappointed that Jamie had to work and couldn't join them, but she'd gladly recruit anyone who happened to be wandering through to join them.

[ETA: I'm heading home from work. Feel free to advance your characters to the town trick-or-treat post at your own speed :) If you want to handwave that your character ran into Marie and she convinced them to go, that's fine with me!]

"Hey, Conner!" Willow waved. "How's it going?"

"My hair will never be the same again," Conner remarked, ruffling his own still-damp locks. "I think the bleach fried 'em worse than the electrical overload last year."

"I was gonna say you have Spike hair," Willow said. "Not that it doesn't look nice, but it does give the ol' follicles a beating."

"Yeah, I'm not doing this again." Conner adjusted his earpiece thingy and made sure his pockets had plenty of room for candy. "It's been years since I went trick-or-treating."

"Which is a shame because there's really so little wrong with free candy," Willow said.

"Except for the part where it's not very healthy," Conner said. Then something she'd said a little while ago finally hit him. "Hey, I didn't spike my hair!"

"You did too," Willow said. "It's all bleachy!"

"But I didn't use any gel in it!" Conner? Very confused. He blamed the bleach fumes.

Well now Willow was too. "Why would gel help with bleaching?"

"I have no idea!" Conner patted himself on top of the head, wondering if his hair had gone and done something weird without him realizing it. "But it helps if you want it to be all spiky!"

"I don't think Spike ever gelled his hair," Willow said. "Of course I'm not an expert, and if he did that might explain the sort of helmety effect it had."

Stupid bleach fumes. "Wait, so we're talking about someone named Spike? Huh?"

"Yep," Willow said. "Vampire back home. Big into the Billy Idol look."

"Oh, with the . . ." It made sense now. "Right. Gotcha. I don't think I'd make a very good vampire, though."

"I'm glad for that," Willow said. "I prefer you breathing."
